For my birthday, I put Penelope in a bow (for five minutes). She was so cute! and a good sport!On another note, it is disease season again, and I seem to have lost some young ones. This morning, I picked up a sick older chick and she is now in my care and being treated with antibiotics. She already looks better to me.
We also lost one of the four adolescents that were Jenny's offspring to a dog. She was not smart and went in the dog's enclosure two doors down. Two of Jenny's offspring seem to be males, so they have been renamed. So, the three remaining Jenny's are called:
Jeannette, Jett, Jeff
