I think Bob has left us for Otherlands. A week ago he no longer appeared at feedings or hanging out with his beloved Penelope. There had been no violence with the cocks and no body has been found in the bush, so we thought he had moved on to his own territory. Turns out he is across the street trying for matings. We hope he is happy. We liked him, he was a moochy rooster but he was
our moochy rooster. I think Penelope misses him too, because she seems to be searching for something when she is out. She is also getting more adventurous and has run off for awhile, we think she has a nest somewhere. Now we have to keep a better eye on her so she doesn't run off and sit on her nest and then we can't find her. Well, I guess it is farewell and good luck to Mr.Bitty Bob (Cockadoodle Robert, III, Esquire ( the new title that he earned through being a good watch rooster and mate).

Cockadoodle Robert, III, Esquire
On the plus side, we seem to have a new Bob growing up, he is named, Cockadoodle Robert, IV "Beebop Bippity Bob".

The new young Master,
Master Cockadoodle Robert, IV
